Celebration of history, heritage, and community are at the heart of the ODT. We have proudly been part of your district since 1861, when the first edition of The Otago Daily Times was published.

Oamaru Victorian Grand Parade Photographs

The ODT is excited to announce that we'll have a photographer capturing moments throughout the parade. We aim to freeze-frame the essence of this remarkable event, preserving it as a cherished memory to re-visit.

Return to this page on the days following the festival to browse through the photos we have captured. It's a fantastic option for those who didn't manage to get their owns snapshots on the day. They can be printed through the ODT Store as a visual time capsule of this memorable event.

  • This offer is for subscribers starting before 23.59 on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Sign up via odt.co.nz/subscribe-now using promotional code "EVENT" (credit card payment) or at ODT Oamaru office via a paper form (credit card, eftpos and cash payments)

    • Photos & supportive documents can be submitted online via a form on odt.co.nz/victorian or witnessed by staff member at the ODT office by 23.59 on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 
    • Extensions will be applied in bulk at the end of November 2023 and successful subscribers will be notified by email.
